Some examples which illustrate the scope of The Fund's activities in FY 04 include: Shout-band Kenny Carr and the Tigers will travel from Charlotte, NC to Hungary for participation in the ITEC Budapest, the Sventendre Art Festival, and the Valley of Arts Int'l. Festival. Internationally renowned theater company The Wooster Group will perform at the Biennale Bonn in Germany and the Summer Festival of Barcelona (Grec Festival) in Spain. The American Repertory Theater will bring David Heny Hwang's The Sound of a Voice, featuring Phillip Glass' first composition fpr Asian instruments to Poland's premier int'l. theater festival, The Festival of Theater Festivals.
